Maria was drawn to the field because of her profound respect for older adults. As she shares, “I entered this field over 30 years ago because I believe our elders are a living library of wisdom.”
Over the years, she has remained passionate about helping create an environment where residents can thrive and feel truly at home. Maria believes long-term care is about much more than clinical support; it’s about community, connection, and belonging.
