MANCHESTER (June 12, 2025) – iCare Health Network proudly joins long-term care providers across the country in celebrating National Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) Week, taking place June 12–18, 2025. This year’s theme, “We Are Champions,” perfectly captures the spirit and strength of the dedicated CNAs who form the backbone of care in skilled nursing and long term care, including here at iCare.
Every day, iCare’s CNAs go above and beyond to support not only the physical health of our residents but also their emotional and social well-being. They are often the first to greet residents in the morning and the last to check in at night. They provide comfort during difficult times, celebrate personal milestones, and help preserve dignity through every interaction.
Whether it’s noticing the subtle changes in a resident’s behavior that lead to timely medical attention, taking the time to style a resident’s hair the way they like it, or making sure a favorite shirt is clean and ready for a family visit, these acts of care and kindness define what it means to be a champion. CNAs have been known to seek out favorite treats for residents, stay late to provide companionship, or learn a few words in another language just to make a resident feel more at home.
The “We Are Champions” theme reflects not only the endurance and skill CNAs demonstrate each day but also the profound impact they have on the lives they touch. In every hallway, resident room, and shared space, their compassion and commitment shine.
During CNA Week—and throughout the year—we extend our deepest appreciation to our CNAs for their tireless efforts. To our CNA team across iCare Health Network: thank you for showing up each day with heart, courage, and excellence. Our residents thrive because of you, and our care center communities are stronger for it.
