BENNINGTON, VT (March 11, 2026) – Meet Tabitha, Administrator at MissionCare at Bennington. Tabitha’s journey into long-term care began unexpectedly while working as an occupational therapist. What started as per diem work quickly turned into a passion as she discovered how much she loved building relationships with and caring for the geriatric population.
One moment that has stayed with her came when a family member thanked her after their loved one passed away, sharing how much it meant that their final years were lived with dignity and joy. Experiences like that continue to inspire Tabitha’s dedication to her work every day.
As Tabitha shares:
“The most meaningful part of my job is knowing we are caring for and providing a dignified life to those folks who have been cast away by others or not given a chance to have a safe and dignified life.”
