On December 5, 2025, the Governor of Vermont and members of his administration brought the state’s “Capital for a Day” initiative to Bennington. On November 21, 2024, MissionCare at Bennington and iCare Health Network were honored to welcome distinguished guests including Dr. Jill Bowen, Commissioner of the Vermont Department of Aging and Independent Living; Deputy Commissioner Megan Tierney-Ward; Vermont Department of Corrections Deputy Commissioner Kristin Calver in joining Chris Wright in a ceremonial ribbon cutting to mark the grand opening of the care center. 

At MissionCare at Bennington the staff proudly wore pink to stand in solidarity with those battling breast cancer.       We celebrate the strength of survivors and honor the memories of loved ones lost. Together, we support the fight for a cure and raise awareness for this important cause. Nice job, Bennington team!

On September 12, 2024, iCare Health Network welcomed its newest location to the network, part of the MissionCare Health service line. The center was formerly known as Bennington Health and Rehab and was relaunched as of 12:01AM as MissionCare at Bennington.
