HARTFORD, CT (May 27, 2026) – Parkville Care Center has earned a CMS 5-Star Rating, a recognition that reflects the dedication, consistency, and commitment demonstrated every day by the center’s staff and leadership team.
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Five-Star Quality Rating System is one of the nation’s most recognized measures of quality in skilled nursing care. The designation evaluates facilities across several categories, including health inspections, staffing, and quality measures, helping families and healthcare partners better understand performance and resident outcomes.
For the team at Parkville Care Center, the recognition represents far more than a score. It reflects the culture that staff members have worked to build throughout the center — one centered on compassionate care, accountability, teamwork, and resident experience.
Parkville Care Center has continued to strengthen its clinical programming while maintaining a strong focus on creating a supportive environment for residents and families alike. Staff across all departments contributed to the achievement, from nursing and rehabilitation teams to dietary, housekeeping, recreation, admissions, and administration.
“This recognition really reflects the people here and the care they put into residents every day,” said Administrator Jen Johnson. “Our staff works incredibly hard to support residents and families, and we’re proud to see that commitment recognized.”
The CMS 5-Star Rating is considered the highest overall rating awarded through the federal system and serves as an important benchmark within the healthcare industry. Achieving and maintaining that standard requires ongoing attention to quality outcomes, regulatory performance, staffing support, and resident-centered care.
iCare Health Network congratulates the entire Parkville Care Center team on this meaningful accomplishment and the standard of excellence it represents.
