BENNINGTON, VT (October 5, 2026) – MissionCare at Bennington residents and staff recently took the stage for the center’s first-ever MissionCare’s Got Talent Show, bringing together an afternoon of music, creativity, humor and some unexpected talents.
Residents shared a wide range of skills with the audience, including singing, poetry and flower arranging. One participant put a different kind of talent on display with an impressive Jenga-stacking performance. Several MissionCare staff members also joined the lineup and shared talents of their own.
The show gave residents an opportunity to choose how they wanted to participate, prepare something meaningful to them and share it with their neighbors, staff and friends. Performers were met with plenty of encouragement and applause throughout the event.
Events like the talent show are one of the ways MissionCare creates opportunities for residents to stay engaged, express themselves and enjoy everyday experiences together. Recreation programming is designed to reflect different interests and abilities, whether someone wants to perform, participate in an activity or simply enjoy being part of the audience.
