MANCHESTER, CT (April 16, 2026) – iCare Health Network is pleased to welcome Robert Henige, a healthcare leader with more than two decades of experience across the post-acute care continuum, including home health, hospice, and skilled nursing facility operations. Robert will serve as Regional Director of Operations.
Robert’s path in healthcare began early, launching his career in post-acute care in 1999. Over the years, he has built a comprehensive understanding of the industry from multiple vantage points—spending nine years in homecare and hospice before transitioning into the skilled nursing environment, where he has spent more than 17 years. His career progression has been marked by a steady expansion of responsibility, beginning in business development and evolving into senior operational leadership roles overseeing multi-facility teams.
Throughout his career, Robert has demonstrated a consistent ability to lead through complexity, drive performance, and support both clinical and operational excellence. His experience spans multiple states, most recently in Florida, where he has held divisional leadership roles within large, multi-site organizations. Colleagues and peers have noted his long-standing commitment to the field and his growth from entry-level roles into senior leadership—an arc that reflects both dedication and a deep understanding of frontline operations.
Robert has been a licensed Nursing Home Administrator since 2011, guiding facility operations with a focus on quality outcomes, regulatory compliance, and team development. In addition, he earned his National Certification as an EMT in 2011. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Management from Kettering University in Flint, Michigan.
At iCare, Robert will play a key role in advancing operational performance across the network. His breadth of experience across care settings and his ability to align teams around shared goals position him well to contribute to iCare’s mission of delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to complex populations.
