National Quality Achievements Celebrated at AHCA/NCAL Conference as Three iCare Centers Accept Awards

October 21, 2026

MANCHESTER, CT (October 21, 2026) – Three iCare Health Network skilled nursing care centers were recognized for their commitment to quality care at the 2026 American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL) Delivering Solutions Conference.

Parkville Care Center in Hartford received the Silver Achievement in Quality Award, becoming one of only two skilled nursing facilities in Connecticut to earn the distinction in 2026. The award recognizes organizations that have demonstrated measurable progress in improving performance, resident outcomes and quality of care.

60 West in Rocky Hill and Fresh River Healthcare in East Windsor each received the Bronze Commitment to Quality Award, recognizing their efforts to establish a foundation for continuous quality improvement.

The awards are part of the AHCA/NCAL National Quality Award Program, a nationally recognized initiative that encourages long-term and post-acute care providers to evaluate and improve their organizational performance and the care they deliver to residents.

These achievements reflect the leadership and dedication of the administrators and care teams at each center. iCare Health Network congratulates Lisa Rivard, Jess DeRing and Jen Johnson for their leadership and ongoing commitment to improving quality of care, resident outcomes and quality of life.

The conference also marked another important recognition for iCare Health Network. Chris Wright, former CEO of iCare Health Network and current member Chairman, was reelected Chair of the AHCA Board of Governors for 2026–2027. In this national leadership role, Wright continues to represent long-term care providers and advocate for the profession and the residents they serve.

iCare Health Network congratulates its award-winning care centers, administrators and staff on these accomplishments. Their work reflects the organization’s continued commitment to providing high-quality, person-centered care throughout its network of skilled nursing centers in Connecticut and beyond.
