MANCHESTER, CT (June 11, 2026) – From June 11–17, iCare Health Network joins skilled nursing and long term care providers across the country in celebrating National Nursing Assistants Week, also known as CNA Week. This year’s theme, “We’re Unbelievable,” recognizes the dedication, compassion, and professionalism demonstrated every day by Certified Nursing Assistants.
For residents and patients, CNAs are often the caregivers they see most frequently throughout the day. They are the first to offer a reassuring smile in the morning, lend a helping hand during rehabilitation, provide comfort during difficult moments, and celebrate the small victories that make a meaningful difference. Their work requires skill, patience, empathy, and an unwavering commitment to the people they serve.
Across iCare Health Network, CNAs play a vital role in creating the supportive and caring environments that define our centers. They build relationships with residents and families, serve as important members of interdisciplinary care teams, and help ensure that every individual is treated with dignity, respect, and compassion. While much of their work happens quietly behind the scenes, its impact is felt every day throughout our communities.
