On this Veteran’s Day, on behalf of iCare Health Network, our care centers and entire staff, we would like to honor all of our nation’s veteran’s for their service and their sacrifice for this country. There are dozens of veterans in every iCare facility and we take every opportunity, especially today, to say thank you. 

Holidays are always big and exciting for residents and staff at iCare Health Network’s skilled nursing communities. The team kicked the holiday season off right with Halloween celebrations complete with costume contests, trick-or-treating, music and plenty of tasty treats. Gallery in full post. 

iCare Health Network has announced that Sarah Howroyd is joining the company as Director of Mental Health and Addiction Services. Howroyd will help to build out IHN’s mental health and substance use programming to be as person-centered and recovery-oriented as possible. She will create a forward-looking structure, business practices and network for new connections within IHN’s mental health and addiction treatment lines of business .

The main entrance to Fresh River Healthcare is dressed up for Fall, due in part to Crystal and Brooke. Crystal is a nurse with Beacon Hospice, Fresh River partner, and the mother and daughter team volunteered their time to make it happen. Special thanks to them! 

According to their website, the Vernon Multidisciplinary Team (VMT) Seniorhood Fair offers seniors, adults, and caregivers ways to plan and enhance their “seniorhood” years through workshops, demonstrations, exhibits, and resources. Exhibitors will showcase a variety of public and private services that are available in the local community which focus on the lifestyle needs of a growing senior population.
