MANCHESTER (March 26, 2020) – A letter from Chris Wright, President and CEO of iCare Health Network to the healthcare heroes working day and night to keep us all safe and healthy during this crisis:
Words cannot adequately express my gratitude for all that you are doing to protect our residents and fellow staff during the uncertain times of this COVID-19 crisis.
I am so impressed, grateful and proud of the work that has been done to prepare for this emergency, including the sweeping precautions that have been instituted so rapidly. I am also proud of the daily effort to keep a sense of calm and normalcy in our care centers. This crisis has made it abundantly clear how each job in the care center is interrelated and essential to our mission.
I am praying each day for you and your families to stay healthy and happy through this trying time. I pray too that God helps us to always work with purpose and calms our fears and anxieties. I am overjoyed to see the word “Hero” used to describe you and the heroic work you do each day, pandemic or not. You ALL are certainly the unseen and unspoken heroes in the world!
I am in awe of the selfless dedication of staff and focus on the company’s mission of Enriching the Lives of the Residents We Serve. Thank you for the sacrifice of putting yourself in harm’s way for others. We may have a long road ahead of us but the best method of travel is to do it together. We are indeed all in this together.
