As such we admit and care for patients in the network, including and especially patients with Congestive Heart Failure (CHF). Saint Francis Hospital, in conjunction with its Hoffman Heart and Vascular Institute is holding an educational series, taught by esteemed members of their staff, for patients with CHF and their families.

COPD and other emphysema related diseases can be made worse by the hot and humid weather of a New England summer. It is imperative that patients take proper precautions against hazards to their pulmonary health.
