The rain did not hold them back. Touchpoints at Bloomfield residents took a day trip to Dunkin Donuts Park in Hartford to watch the Wareham Gateman play the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox as part of famous Cape League Baseball. It ended up being a beautiful and cool day for the residents on this second annual trip with the Gateman beating the Red Sox 3-2. The residents had a great time and were excited to see the Touchpoints name up on the scoreboard as the park welcomed groups to the game.

Residents of Touchpoints at Bloomfield Receive Flowers and Plantings Donated by KBE Building Corporation

In early July, Touchpoints at Bloomfield received a generous donation of beautiful garden boxes, plants, flowers and soil from KBE Building Corporation of Farmington, CT. According to Touchpoints’ Cindy Payne, “The residents are so excited to receive such a generous donation. Our rehab team has utilized the garden boxes to work with our residents on strength and mobility through our horticulture program.”

Snickers the Pony came to visit residents from Touchpoints at Chestnut on July 4th. Snickers hails from Shag Bark Hickory Farm right in East Windsor and made the residents’ day with his presence. Mr. Snickers, as the farm calls him, makes frequent wardrobe changes and is happy to participate in activities.

Trinity Hill Care Center Holds Prom Night 2019

Trinity Hill took part in the early Summer prom season with their own Prom Night event for residents. The evening started with a nice dinner including chicken Marsala, baked potato, roasted broccoli, and Parmesan encrusted fish. After dinner, Trinity Hill residents danced the night away to up-tempo, rhythmic music provided by Trinity Hill’s own, DJ D-ron. The night was closed out with prom pictures and a social hour with residents and staff.
