On Fat Tuesday, March 1, 2022, the teams at Parkville Care Center in Hartford and MissionCare at Holyoke celebrated Mardi Gras with the residents. The festivities included games, colorful food and New Orleans jazz music, delivered down the halls of the care centers by float. Of course the attire had to include masks (of the masquerade type paired with the PPE type) and beads! Great work Parkville and MissionCare teams! -

MissionCare at Holyoke will be holding an Open House style Job Fair and Hiring Events on March 2, 2022 at the care center at 35 Holy Family Road. On Groundhog’s Day 2022, the team at MissionCare at Holyoke celebrated the first anniversary of the care center’s operation. Put another way, they celebrated heading into Year Two on 2/2/22. To carry through with the dual themes, the Groundhog himself ignored the presence or absence of his shadow and visited residents and staff, delivering cupcakes and spreading traditional Groundhog Day cheer.
