Parkville Care Center proudly joined the Greater Hartford community on Sunday, marching in the 2025 CICD Puerto Rican Day Parade. The annual event, organized by the Connecticut Institute for Community Development (CICD), is a vibrant celebration of Puerto Rican culture and heritage, drawing thousands of participants and spectators to Hartford’s streets. On August 26th, twenty-one leaders from across iCare Health Network nursing facilities – including Administrators, Program Directors, and other care team members – successfully completed the Behavioral Health Ambassador Training through the Center of Excellence for Behavioral Health in Skilled Nursing Facilities (COE-NF). Each participant earned two professional credentials: the COE-NF Behavioral Health Ambassador Badge and CPI Verbal De-escalation Strategies Certificate.
