MissionCare at Holyoke and Parkville Care Center Celebrate Mardi Gras and Fat Tuesday in Style
March 2, 2022On Fat Tuesday, March 1, 2022, the teams at Parkville Care Center in Hartford and MissionCare at Holyoke celebrated Mardi Gras with the residents. The festivities included games, colorful food and New Orleans jazz music, delivered down the halls of the care centers by float. Of course the attire had to include masks (of the masquerade type paired with the PPE type) and beads! Great work Parkville and MissionCare teams!
Valentine's Day 2022 Around the iCare Health Network

Parkville Care Center did a fun “speed dating” style meet and greet, connecting with residents from Touchpoints of Bloomfield. Both parties used the iPads and chatted for about 30 minutes. Christmas at iCare: Holiday Pajamas and Ugly Sweater Sightings
December 20, 2021As part of the major Christmas festivities that always take place around iCare Health Network, holiday pajamas and ugly sweaters made an appearance. December17th was National Ugly Sweater Day and Parkville Care Center and MissionCare at Holyoke definitely came through! During the first week of November, the team at Parkville Care Center celebrated the retirement of two long tenured members of the team with two parties. Those retiring were both Certified Nurse’s Aides (CNAs); Joanna Marchand, after 32 years of service and Gwendolyn Johnson, after 34 years of service.
