Parkville Care Center Recreation Program Debuts Custom Built Domino Table with Puerto Rican Theme

On April 25th the recreation team at Parkville Care Center, led by Katie Jeans, took possession of a custom built Domino table, emblazoned with artwork celebrating Puerto Rican heritage. Custom built by Julio Rivera for the residents of Parkville Care Center to put to immediate use. Shown here as Julio constructs the base and the finished product.

Parkinson’s Disease Awareness Month – Fresh River Healthcare Adding Respite and Home Assessment

As Fresh River celebrates its First Anniversary of the Parkinson’s Disease Program, the capacity to support both the patient and the caregiver continues to expand. Families, caregivers and residents have provided feedback through the many events and offerings available and the Fresh River team has responded. This has led to a Home Assessment, with a focus on four key elements, and a specialized Respite Program.
