Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon at Fresh River Healthcare
October 3, 2018On September 19, 2018 Fresh River Healthcare held a Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon. As always, a delicious meal was prepared by Fresh River’s Director of Food and Nutrition with an assortment of pies for dessert. Janine Lancaster. Guests were treated to a musical performance by Ed Chiucarello.
iCare Health Network and all its communities made the commitment to provide a Stigma Free environment and Stigma-Free care to residents with mental illness as well as those with substance use disorder, dementia and cognitive disorders. In keeping with the themes of National Recovery Month, on September 21st iCare held a kick-off event in the form of a pep rally at the company headquarters in Manchester. And so began two weeks of Stigma Free programming and training within the iCare communities…

September 27, 2018iCare Health Network’s annual iFair was held today at 60 West in Rocky Hill. As part of National Recovery Month and the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Stigma Free Campaign, each iCare community wore a different slogan/motto/mission statement around stigma-free care. Touchpoints at Bloomfield Staff and Residents Remember 9-11
September 26, 2018No one will ever forget the date September 11, 2001. Over the years, Touchpoints at Bloomfield has provided various types of programs in remembrance of what America went through that day. To honor the day the community has held First Responders breakfasts and the residents and staff have made thank you cards to Fire, Police and EMS. In 2018, residents made flag pins and remembered the deep and profound tragedy of that day.
