On October 14, 2024 the team at Touchpoints at Bloomfield hosted a Community Harvest Fest to celebrate iCare Health Network’s 25th Anniversary. The celebration was named ‘The Big T’ Community Harvest Fest and was a day to remember! Residents, staff, families, and the community came together for delicious food, live music, cardio drumming, a petting zoo, corn maze, pumpkin patch, and more. Thank you to everyone who made this beautiful fall fair day possible! 

As an Administrator since 2002, I have found that everyday is a new adventure. I do not go to work expecting the same as the day before, being willing to bend to what is going on and going with the flow makes the difference. The situations that arise are ever changing. Even on what I may feel is some of my toughest days, such as when we were in the recent pandemic, the residents made it all worth it.

On November 16, 2023 the team at Touchpoints at Bloomfield once again hosted a Thanksgiving luncheon at the Bloomfield Senior Center.  About 75 Bloomfield seniors were in attendance as several department managers from Touchpoints at Bloomfield served a traditional holiday meal complete with appetizers, dessert and apple cider.  Great job, TAB team!

On April 6, 2023 the team at Touchpoints at Bloomfield held a celebration of Easter and Spring for residents and staff. The festivities included an Easter egg hunt on campus, Easter Trivia and tasty treats like cupcakes as part of an Easter Social.   Great job, TAB team!

On March 3, 2023 the team at Touchpoints at Bloomfield celebrate Read Across American Day and Dr. Suess’ Birthday. In honor of the two occasions, The Cat in the Hat and Thing One and Thing Two made a special visit and the whole team made sure to look the part.  The event highlighted the importance and joy of reading and, as always, ended with a special treat and dancing. Read Across America is the nation’s largest celebration of reading.
