Antonia Browne Retires from Touchpoints at Bloomfield After 31 Years of Service to the Residents

On March 31, 2022, the team at Touchpoints at Bloomfield held a party in honor of Antonia Browne who retired after 31 years of service to the residents of the care center. Despite the balloons, research and input from Antonia show she actually achieved 33 years! The surprise celebration included a cake and card as well as an engraved crystal retirement award. Here is a selection of Valentine’s Day photos from around the iCare Health Network. Parkville Care Center did a fun “speed dating” style meet and greet, connecting with residents from Touchpoints of Bloomfield. Both parties used the iPads and chatted for about 30 minutes. Touchpoints at Bloomfield Holds 1st Annual National Breast Cancer Awareness Walk, 2021

On October 22nd the team at Touchpoints at Bloomfield hosted their 1st Annual National Breast Cancer Awareness Walk in the care center’s parking lot. On July 20, 2021 State Representative Bobby Gibson who represents District 15, Bloomfield and Windsor, toured Touchpoints at Bloomfield with leadership from the care center and iCare Health Network. On February 7th, Concetta Lopes, a resident of Touchpoints at Bloomfield, was able to celebrate her 98th birthday with a long awaited gift – an indoor, in-person visit with her son; the first indoor visit at Touchpoints in almost a year of COVID precautions and visitor restrictions.
